Q: What are handbills?

A: Handbills are basically flyers, usually A4 (8.27" x 11.69") or B5 (6.9" x 9.8") international paper sized.  They were given out in shops in Japan to promote the release of an upcoming game, system, or accessory.  Handbills are beautiful pieces of Japanese art.  They typically included the release date, price, screenshots and other information.
